Yup that’s a point I wanted to make as well. A lot of times people say this Proud Skull Police Shirt is the “worst ending” because it’s dark and a tragic end for your character. But that has no correlation with the quality of writing and execution of the ending. The devil imo was the best written and executed ending out of all of them. Sure it sucked for V making it the “worst” for him but in terms of the mood and emotions it creates when you go through it, it is my favourite one. “Worst” should not mean “I got sad for my V”. And also, this one makes the most sense as well. Considering the giant Corp that Arasaka is, it’s kind of cheesy to infiltrate the building like it’s a marvel movie in the Star and Sun endings. I didn’t mind them at all, they were great but a plot where Hanako Arasaka herself escorts you through the building makes so much more sense.
