I don’t want another challenge like this, though (I was standing/sitting in 36+ Celsius for hours for the Sinnoh starters. wasn’t fun).

Idk about their eyes, but SuMo has undoubtedly one of the smoothest animations in the series. Just look at the battles and the character expressions- jesus, were they abusing their budget?Basically, SuMo’s change to a simpler art style benefit the animation since the simpler = the easier to animate. It’s,, understandable to make a higher quality-looking show. Meanwhile, shows like Teen Titans Go or the new Ben 10 became simpler for the sake of being cheaper and “modern” (they even use stock images??). Nothing is benefit from them. They’re the crappy ones here so it feels sad that people think that SuMo is on the same level as them.was pretty sad about it when event was ending. I haven’t missed a single collection challenge yet until that one
